cream of tartar

potassium bitartrate or cream of tartar I have recently discovered. I heard about it, but it was a mysterious object for me, more so than in my supermarket there was not a trace. Then, during the carnival, have set up a shelf with all the ingredients for making sweets, and here they are the bags of magic dust! (Make f.lli Rebecchi). I just bought and tried the recipe for white cake, only one made with egg whites. A wonder! So soft was never coming, and I think it is even higher than usual.

I have no photos of the whole pie because it was under attack before I had the camera in hand!
However, the important is the inside:), the softness and taste them there I can only tell, but if you want to try, this is the recipe:

white cake or 7 jars

ingredients: 1 cup of yogurt

2 cups white sugar 3 cups flour

a little jar of sunflower oil

6 egg whites 1 teaspoon cream of tartar from 8 g

1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract Beat the egg whites until

stiff helping with a pinch of salt or a few drops lemon juice.
Beat yogurt with sugar, add flour mixed with cream of tartar and baking soda. Stirring gently from bottom to top to add the egg whites.
Grease and flour a 24 cm dish and bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 min. approximately (depending on oven)
Before serving sprinkle with powdered sugar.
a much loved by me and my brother when we were children is the one with the chocolate covering. Simply melts the chocolate in a saucepan on low heat with 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk, hot stretches on the cake and makes it cool. Tasty and very beautiful to submit!
CIAOOO, good evening.
